The mission of Affordable Christmas is to help parents provide Christmas gifts for their children in a way that preserves their dignity and promotes their empowerment.
We’ve partnered with families in our community for years, and invite them to shop for brand-new gifts at a reduced cost, enjoy breakfast together, take photos with Santa, and leave with gifts wrapped and ready for Christmas morning.
More than gifts, Affordable Christmas is one of our primary opportunities to continue to foster community relationships throughout the neighborhoods of our city.
Our hope and prayer is that families would encounter the radical love of Jesus each year, and that God’s kingdom would come and His will be done in Kansas City as it is in heaven.

Walk through the store with a parent to engage them in conversation and make sure they have everything they need while shopping at Affordable Christmas.

Help to set up the store, decorate, and ensure that everything is ready to go before the event.
