Andrew Brantley

Associate Pastor

What is your job? I have served the church as the Associate Pastor since early 2019.

What are your responsibilities? I mainly work to ensure we are living up to our commitment to cultivate communities of transformed disciples who live for the glory of God. I do this through leading different formation ministries, training leaders, and empowering volunteers.

Family? I married my wife Kara in 2014, and we have two sons named Owen and Beau, and a daughter named Isla. We live in Merriam with our dog, Gus.

Where are you from? Born and raised in the Kansas City area.

Education and Experience? BA in Biblical Studies & Communication from Southwest Baptist University, and a Master in Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. I spent about eight years in Chicago for seminary, and was on staff at a church for a few years in the Chicago suburbs.

What hobbies/interests outside of work? I love learning about new things! My family and I love to be outside and find new trails or bike rides to explore. I normally have more books than I can read on my nightstand. Over the last few years I’ve experimented with smoking meat, and am close to making good brisket.
